DIRECTIONS


Walking from the Quay or the Wightlink Yarmouth - Lymington Car Ferry (approx. 3 minutes stroll):
Walk past the Wightlink booking office and The George Hotel, along Quay Street into the heart of the town: St James Square. Turn right and walk past the church, continuing along St James Street. The Community Hall is the last building on the right, before you reach the crossroads with the Newport Road (Tennyson Road).

Walking from Yarmouth Harbour or the Bus station or Scoot passenger ferry (approx. 2 minutes stroll):
Walk to the roundabout, go straight over but stay on the left hand pavement along the grass verge. Follow this road (River Road) as it bends to the left, turn left into St James Street. The Community Hall is the first building on the left.

Driving from Newport: Follow the main Yarmouth Road A3054 until you reach the edge of the town (30 mph limit), continue past the Common on your right, along Tennyson Road. After 200m you reach a pedestrian crossing with traffic lights and if you are you dropping pedestrians at the door; immediately turn right into St James Street.The Community Hall is the first building on the left. Alternatively continue straight along Tennyson road, past the school (on your left) to the public car park on the left. This is just where the road bends to the right, towards the harbour.

Driving from Freshwater (or the Wightlink Yarmouth - Lymington Car Ferry): From Freshwater, follow the main Yarmouth Road A3054 over the Yar Bridge and past the Harbour to the roundabout. This is where cars come off the ferry. Go straight across into River Road and just as the road bends to the left, turn right into the public car park. Alternatively, if you are dropping pedestrians at the door; continue round the left-hand bend of river Road then immediately turn left into St James Street. Yarmouth Community Hall is the first building on the left.

Pedestrian access: At the front entrance, if the blue double doors on St James Street are closed, please use the side entrance from the path that leads along the right-hand side of the building.

If you have pre-arranged access to the rear courtyard, the entrance is in River Road.
